The Great Gilly Hopkins!

What kind of books do you like? Do you like action, adventure, drama, romance........ The Great Gilly Hopkins is a new berry honor book. I would say its a dramatic book than anything else. I tried to read the book a long time ago and I never got in to it. This week I saw it on the self and I picked it up and this time around I really liked it. Threw out the whole book I keep thinking don't do it Gilly! I recommend this book, it made me cry a one part near the end, that's how good it was.
The book follows a girl named Gabriella Hopkins who moves from one foster home to another. When she was little she had a very sweet lady that was her foster parent Gabriella loved her until the lady moved and left her behind. Ever since then Gabriella has made sure to cause as much trouble as possible and to make sure she never loves anyone but her real mother. She moves from town to town from foster parent to foster parent until she gets to a lady named Mrs. Trotter. Trotter as Gilly calls her is desperate to make things work out for Gilly, and Gilly is desperate to see her real mother Courtney. Gilly gets a letter from her mother and decides to arrange by herself a trip to see her mother, but what Gilly does not get is that her mother does not want her. Trotter also has a foster boy named William Ernest that Gilly comes to like, she calls him W.E., she liked to scare the boy until the end where she realizes he is not as dumb as she thought he was. Gilly is followed around by a girl that lives with her grandma because her mother and father left her, Gilly tries to act as nice as possible to Agnes Strokes because she knows she will need her later. Trotters has Gilly go and get the neighbor for dinner, he is a blind old man that Trotter feeds ever night. Gilly is worried about staying any longer, she writes a letter to her mother telling her that she would come soon. She is asked to read a book to Trotter and the neighbor Mr. Randolph, since they both can read. She goes to Mr. Randolph's house to pick a book and while in his house she finds a book with money behind it, before she could check for more she hears Trotter coming and calling for her. She stuffs the money that she has in her pocket. That night she comes up with a plan to get home to her mother. The plan involves Agnes Strokes, and W.E., she succeeds with the plan. She fails when she gets to the train station and is sent home to a unhappy Trotter. Her mother gets a letter and Courtney sends her mother to get Gilly. Gilly is mad that she has to go, she realizes that she loves this home. Its to late thought, Gilly's grandma comes to get her and they leave for home, her grandma tells her that she did not even know that she had a granddaughter. Gilly is unhappy and she wished she never wrote the letter to her mother. Gilly gets news that her mother is coming, Gilly thinks that her mother is coming to get her and bring her lovely daughter home! Does it work out or not? Does Gilly go with her mother? Does her mother even love her like she said in the letter?
The Great Gilly Hopkins is a wonderful book, you should read it!

Inspired By My Friend Nadia!

Nadia is my friend and this post was inspired by her! Nadia recently did a blog post that involving tongue twisters, so I wanted to write some that I came up with or my brothers or sisters came up with. Some are weird and some are really hard to say. Others are really easy to say because we have said it so many times.
The first one that I am going to blog about use to be hard to say, but now that I am use to saying it. Here is the story, we got a peanut butter jar from the store, the jar was advertising Peter Pan on it. This is what the peanut butter jar said: "Peter Pan Peanut Butter," try saying that five times fast!
This one I made up when I blogged about mushroom kitchens. I was writing the label for the mushroom post and I came up with this: "Mushing Mushy Mushrooms." Now that is hard to say three times fast. I can't even say that!
This one I also came up with. "Mashing Mushy Mashed Potatoes!" That tongue twister is a little easier than the others. Try to say it three times fast.
So try them and make up your own, post a comment that has a tongue twister!

More And More And More Mushrooms!

Can you imagine a kitchen with brown mushrooms everywhere? Would you like a kitchen with mushrooms? I would answer the first question like this, "a mushroom kitchen, who would want brown mushrooms everywhere! That sounds weird." The second question a would say, "Why would anyone want a mushroom kitchen, and no I don't want one."

We have mushrooms growing everywhere, in our yard and in everyone's yard. We have big, brown and grey, tall and short, mushrooms everywhere. We have them outside and there not pretty, so why would you want a kitchen with mushroom wall paper? My mom said that my grandma had a mushroom kitchen, she said that it was the stile to have a mushroom kitchen! They had and have weird stiles

I Don't Look Like Her!

Have you ever been told that you look like a famous person? Maybe you were told you look like a super star or a actor/actress. I was never told that until this summer. We had one of the best life guard ever, he let us swim with out breaks every hour. He threw the football with us and he talked about music with my mom and sister. One day when we were at the pool he told me, "you remind me of someone." Before we left that day he said the I looked like Jessica Alba! In my opinion I don't look like Jessica Alba.

It was only us at the pool on day, and we had the fun lifeguard. It was the end of the hour so we had to get out of thee pool for ten minutes. Well he let us stay in the shallow end of the pool. He was walking to the table with his stuff when his boss pulled up! No one was in the lifeguard stand and we were in the water. His boss stepped out of the car at the exact moment he yelled, "I told you guys to get out of the pool!" We got out once his boss left he explained to us that his boss is strict. Then we were allowed back in the pool.

"Your Mixing Cultures!" -Burrito Boy

Does your mom ever order a pizza with stuff you don't like on it, maybe its mushrooms, or peppers, or maybe even onions! Do you just want to made your own pizza? With everything that you like! Does that sound good to you, everything you like and nothing else! Well do I have something to share with you!
For our lunch Burrito boy and I had personal pizza that we made ourselves, our mom always lets us make our personal pizzas! We usually have pittas as our crust, but today I had a tortilla as my crust. Burrito boy said it would turn out gross and he said it would be weired. Turns out he liked it a lot and he wanted more!
At first when I made it he told me "your mixing cultures," but when he took a bite he liked it. I even think it's better than pitta pizzas. It good for lunch or dinner and it's easy to make. If you want to make it then here is how you do it!
1 Set oven to 350. Put aluminum on a baking sheet.
2 Get out cheese, tomato sauce, pittas (or whatever you are using as the crust,) pepperoni, ham, pineapple, mushrooms, anything you want on your pizza.
3 Put your crust on the backing sheet. First put on the tomato sauce, then add whatever you want. NOTE: You might want to add the cheese last, it will help keep everything together, so you won't have a big mess.
4 Put your pizza in the oven for about ten to fifteen minutes, or until the cheese is melted, or until its on fire! Don't wait till it's on fire!
5 Take it out when its done, you can dip it in tomato sauce it you want. That's what Burrito boy and I do!
You should try it, its really delicious!

Carrots, Desserts, And Survival!

It's important to be healthy and also have junk food! I had a teacher once that said that her sister ate carrots all the time, that all she wanted to eat was carrots. Did you know that if you eat to many you will turn orange? Guess what she ate so many that she turned orange, my teacher said that her finger nails were orange and her skin. I thought that was weird and I wanted to try it and see if I would turn orange. I don't like carrots that much and so I never ate enough to turn orange. We need to moderate ourselves, that's what the lesson was about, that's why my teacher told us that story so we would understand that moderating ourselves is important.
That leads me to another story that involves not so healthy food.
Last night I was helping Stink bug with homework, she had to cut out pictures, while looking I found a page of a magazine with only desserts. Chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate chip and banana nut cookies, cupcake with whip cream on top and chocolate chips, blueberry and oatmeal raisin muffins! I don't know about you but all of those sound good, I cut them out and taped them to one of my books. I told Burrito boy that I could survive on all of those foods, that and milk.
Survival, that word leads me on to a story about my sisters friend, I will call her CCL (crazy cat lady). We were talking and I can't remember why we were talking about Mexico but we were. CCL said that she would be able to survive in Mexico because she can say these simple words in Spanish: bathroom, water, food. If all you had to know are those word then I guess I would be able to survive.

The Colors Of The Rainbows!

When you get a box of crayons you get the usual colors, pink, blue, purple, yellow, black, brown, red, orange, and green. I like all of thoughts colors, the thing is every time you get a box of crayons it's the same name (like all the colors I just named.) That's why I like crayola crayons, they have the most weird and original names for their crayons. Caterpillar got a box of 120 crayola crayons, they have the usual colors and they also have different shads of the usual colors! I was going threw the box and they have weird names like burnt orange, macaroni and cheese, electric lime, radical red, neon carrot, unmellow yellow, outrageous orange, piggy pink, fern, outer space, manatee, aquamarine! Have you ever seen a neon carrot or a electric lime? They give their crayons awesome names, its better to say fern than green. Brown is a color but how do we know what kind of brown, dark brown, light brown, medium brown, it does not say on the crayon. In they box of crayons I was looking in I found a fuzzy wuzzy crayon, that's one way to describe brown! It makes me think of a brown bear.
Another crayon was named desert sand which is a light brown, and the dark brown is called beaver! For all the pink crayons they have the names tickle me pink, piggy pink, blush, pink sherbert, cotton candy and pink flamingo. For a shad of purple they call it eggplant, they have a blue bell, caribbean green, sunset orange, mountain meadow and shadow!
Can you guess what colors are these?
1 Laser Lemon 2 Wild Watermelon 3 Vivid Tangerine 4 Shamrock 5 Melon 6 Asparagus
7 Periwinkle 8 Plum 9 Salmon 10 Granny Smith Apple
If you think you know them comment and tell me what colors you think they are!

Stories Of Our Whistling and Dancing Pig!

What I put in the title is true whistling and dancing pig, that's right our guinea pig does it all the time. We walk in the room and call "guinea" and she gets up on her back legs, with her front legs she hold on to the cage and she shakes her butt. Some times she also bites the cage. My mom always likes to see her dance. When we say "lets get carrot pig" she opens her little mouth and whistles as loud as she can. She usually follows us to the kitchen, then she plops her butt down and waits for us to give her food.

When we fist got Ophelia the pig the man selling her to us said that the guinea pig did not climb or run fast. That was not true, we brought her home and set her down she ran so fast that we almost lost her when she tried to run under the toys. Ophelia proved the guy wrong. Next we put her in her cage all she wanted to do was climb and she still does. The hops on pillows and on her pigloo. Pigloo is what my mom calls her little igloo that she can sleep in. Now she sleep inside it and on top of it! That's my favorite pig! In the right corner is the pigloo and in the left corner is our pig! Ophelia the pig!

Don't Mess With My Grandma!

Everyone always brags about their families and how cool they are, so I have decided to tell you about my great Grandma and how she is amazing! My great Grandma has been shooting guns ever since she was very little. She is really good at it. She has her own gun at her house, well this story my mom told me. My Grandma had to renew her licence to have a concealed weapon. So she went to the shooting range. She got a gun and was about to shoot it at the targets when a man came over to her with his friends and said, "let me help you little lady." My mom said that my grandma told them that she did not need their help, and right there she shot all of the targets and all of them were bulls-eyes! That must of impressed the men! I know that impressed me! One time while we went to eat dinner with my grandparents we were talking about people breaking into houses, and I don't really remember how our conversation got to that. But anyways my grandpa said that if anyone broke in to their house that he would run away and call the police. My grandma said that while my grandpa would be running that she would pull her gun out and shoot the guys! My Grandma and Grandpa rock!

Don't Buy Ice Cream Sandwiches, Make Your Own!

What is your favorite ice cream? Is it chocolate, strawberry, mint, vanilla, cookies and cream, cookie dough.............. Because my favorite flavor is strawberry, have you ever had a strawberry ice cream sandwich? Or any other flavored ice cream sandwich other than chocolate and vanilla? As you can probably tell I'm going in the direction of: You can make your own ice cream sandwich, that I'm not shire its cheaper but that I know its better than already made ice cream sandwiches!
Here are the instructions to how to make your own ice cream sandwiches!
1 Get the keys to the car and drive to Kroger's, if you can't drive than get someone to drive you!
2 Look for their cookies, they should be near the bread section. If you want cheap cookies find them at the half off section. Get you favorite cookies and put them in your basket.
3 Go to the ice cream section, get your personal favorite. Put in you basket.
4 Go to the front and buy your items. Drive home, or have some on drive you home.
5 Take out two cookies out and put them on a plate. Open your ice cream and put as many scoops as you want on one of the cookies.
6 Then take the other cookie and squish them together!
7 Eat and enjoy your amazing ice cream sandwich!
My bro told me that if you don't enjoy it their is no refunds!
We usually get the ice cream with three different flavors in one and have a mix of ice creams! We love making our own ice cream sandwich better than getting one already made.
NOTE: You should have milk with your ice cream sandwich, it taste really good!

Back To School (Already) Party!

Yesterday we got to go to a back to school party at our friends house. They had their pool fixed so we could swim. They live in a two story house, that includes a game room. In the game room they have a hockey table and a pool table. My friend Danielle showed me how to play pool, though I did not win that much. When we got there we went swimming, their back yard is small, they have a little house in their back yard too. We swam in their pool. We hit a beach ball around, while mostly the boys (Burrito boy, Nick, Anthony and Marco) hit everyone else in the face with the ball. Some times by accident and most times on purpose. We all joined in water tag, when someone was it everyone else would move to the opposite side of the pool. We also played with these water guns, but they were no ordinary water guns, the guns were about three rulers long, they were red and man they could shoot all the way from one end of the pool to the other end and farther. We had to get out when their was thunder, so we did the second best thing. We ate! We had hot dogs, hamburgers, ribs, drumsticks, the best salsa made by Danielle's mom. Also macaroni, beans and potato salad! Lightning started while we ate so we could not swim for a while. We went inside, they have three dogs, two gerbils and I know they have cats too. We were licked by the dogs and the cats stayed up stair so I did not see them. We played video games, and pool, air hockey too. They also have a drum set and guitars so we were aloud to play with them! Danielle brought her gerbils down when we were about to leave after cake. She has two, one is gray and the other black. I don't know their name, I will ask her next time!

Cool Games!

Today we had our first volleyball game, we got to play two teams. The first teams name is Magnolia1 they were good at serves, the one player could hit the ball so hard that we would jump away from it! We lost to the first team, we played three games with them and we only won one, they won the other two. We had a good practice before we moved on. The next game we played Magnolia2, they won one game and we won the other two. Anyways I was the server one round and to tell the truth I had know idea what I was doing so I served the ball before the referee said to. The other team were all hitting it, trying to get it back to our side, while the referee was trying to tell them we weren't playing yet. After that I made sure that the referee said I could serve, when I served they keep hitting it so it went backward and out of the line, so they were getting it out after I served it. When it was my turn to step out and to let someone else play one of the leaders told me I was their secret weapon. We were happy that we won the game! I like volleyball but I like basketball better! I also had a problem that I would hit the ball so hard it would hit the roof, and we lost a point because I did that! Other than that I enjoyed the game!

The Attack Of The Cockroach!

My mom and all of us kids were in the living room talking and laughing when Burrito boy yelled roach! There on the wall was a huge cockroach running up the wall! Boo boo was screaming like a girl, he was the loudest. Sundum the roach slayer was also screaming with everyone but me. I was annoyed so I got the broom and a tried to kill it but failed. It got in a corner with the vacuum and that was when my dad came out of his room. He said stop yelling, he got Burrito boys shoe and lifted the vacuum! It had run up into the vacuum, so he put it out side. We all are going to sleep together tonight. I have to admit a was scared it would jump on me!

He always tells us that we can take some, my favorite is a really friendly kitten that is white with black paws. All the kittens are cute! Here are some pictures of kittens.

Salad That Rocks!

For lunch I had the best salad ever. Usually people put nuts, fruit slices, cucumber, bacon, sun flower seeds, tomato, cheese, chicken, ham, mushrooms, peppers, olives and of course dressing. But for lunch I made a salad the only had two things out of the list I just wrote. It is tomato and strawberries, both cut in bite size pieces. For the dressing is Kraft fat free thousand island dressing, some how its better fat free, by taste I mean. Its the best salad ever! This picture I found on the Internet, I liked it, so I put it on!

Skip It!

We use to have a skip it, if you don't know what it is here is a picture of one. What you do is put the hoop around your ankle and swing it around, on the ground, and with your other foot jump so it does not hit you. We got a rip off of the skip it when it broke, I can't think of the name. We all used it, my record was 620 non stop, my mom did it, and all my sisters and brothers. That night it broke after all we been threw. The next day my mom got another one, it was also a rip off of the skip it. This one is called a skipper, we still have it and we use it. My record it the same, I can't seem to get to 620 again, here is a girl trying to skip it!

My Favorite Game!

Have you ever played a game that no matter what you do you know you're going to lose. Well that's how it is when I play chess with my dad. My sister Sunbum I know I can beat, and my bro too, but my dad I can't. My dad can beat my grandpa at chess and my grandpa is good. I also play my aunts some times I win and some I lose. Chess is my favorite game ever, I like to play on the computer chess when my bro. and sis. don't want to play with me. The best thing about playing chess with the computer is that when I make a bad move I can relay that move to make a better one, and to learn from my mistakes which is a lot. I never won against the computer.

Cartoon Network!

Live show and cartoon show is different, cartoon show is an animated person, place, or thing, live show is when I really person is acting or doing anything. So my question is: why do they have live shows on Cartoon Network? They started putting on live shows this summer like, Survive This, Brain Rush, The Othersiders, Bobb'e Says, Destroy Build Destroy and Dude what would happen. Out of all the shows I just named I only like two. Not that I'm complaining or anything but I think they should make a channel for all the live shows, that all.

My Crazy Brother And Sister!

The two youngest in are family is Boo boo and Stinkbug, this story is about them. Boo boo and Stinkbug love X-men, they watch a cartoon called X-men Evolution. Anyways Boo boo and Stinkbug came one day and showed me that they took three pencils each and stuck it between their fingers like they were the Wolverine. They were both laughing and saying bub after every other word. They do it all the time and some times they put markers between their fingers!

The Greatest Musicals Of All Time

Calamity Jane is a musical that we watched about a week ago. It rocked. Burrito boy hates musicals, he once fell asleep in a musical called Fiddler on the roof, but most of the time he just does not watch the musicals with us. Anyways Burrito boy likes the movie Calamity Jane, which surprised me. Theirs one part in the movie that every man in town comes to see a Frances Fryer a actor and singer that's going to perform, anyways the girl is really a boy with the same name as the girl that everyone thought was coming. The guy has to dress as a girl and sing for the men and everything is going well till his wig falls off! It's one of the best musicals in my opinion. I also like the Sound of Music, Fiddler on the roof, Calamity Jane and my very favorite Annie get your gun!

All About The Books

When you usually ask teen girls what is their favorite book most likely they say Twilight, well once my mom read a blog that said it was a ripoff of another show I dumped Twilight to watch the show, Roswell. I found out it is true, that and Roswell is a lot better than Twilight. Here is a list of my five favorite books:

1. Vampirates!
This book is about twins who sail out to sea when there dad dies (they never knew their mother), they get in a storm and they get separated. The boy is saved by a pirate ship and the girl gets saved on a vampirates ship. I suggest this book.
2. Peter and the star catchers!
The book is about Peter Pan with out the Pan, he lives in never land and their is a captain hook and all that but its a cool book, I suggest this book, and by the same writers they make mini series of peters friend the lost boys.
3.The two princesses of Bamarre!
Of course its about two princesses, one is brave and the other is shy and not so brave. When the brave one has a sickness that you died from the other princesses go's to find a way to save her.
4. Fairy dust and the guest for the egg!
I like fiction books the best, I thought Tinker Bell was snobby in this book so I did not like her that much.
5. The Chronicles of Narnia!
I love all the books and I suggest them to anyone. I also think the movies were just as good as the books!
So that is my top five favorite books!

Star Trek

Burrito Boy always says that only nerds like Stat Trek, but that is now proven to not be true. We went to watch it in the theaters, I loved it. I'm not a nerd and I really enjoyed the movie, so he was wrong! My mom said that back when they had the old Star Trek that it is boring and she said this was better! Sunbum and I think that Captain Kirk and Spock are cute! Out of five star's I would give it five. The movie rocks! I would go see it again any time. It is now my favorite movie ever!

Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson

My mom showed use this video, Caterpillar and I love the song and the video! We wrote the words down so we could each sing a part of the song, I usually sing the Michael Jackson part, while Caterpillar sings the Paul McCartney part. We are always singing the song!
Say Say Say by: Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.

Caterpillar and I think that they should of sang more songs together, they sang it well together. Tell me how you like it!

I've Got The Hole World In My Hands!

That's right the world is in my hands just like that song, I don't know what that song is called but it has a part that says "I've got the hole world in my hands" and it repeats it over and over again. I've also threw the world like it was a ball with my brother, and when Burrito Boy threw it back I dropped it and broke the world and had to fix it again. Yeah I did not really throw the world were standing on, but never the less I have tossed around a 3D world puzzle! That's right I put it together and played a game of toss with Burrito Boy before I dropped it and had to start all over again to build it! I have it on a self in the front room of the house where I can't break it again! The world is easy to hold but it breaks really easily!

Poptropica

We play on line a game called Poptropica, you get to start off with creating your own character and in the game you can change your person's looks and how they dress. There are islands that you go to and you figure out different problems, it took me to finish all the island months! Plus when your in buildings with other people you can click on them and ether play games with them or chat. There are also coming out with a new island soon, so I'm excited. I think that the best island is Time Tangled. On that island you have to find objects and put them back in there own time! On one island you get a jet pack and on another you get to fly and be a super hero! I recommend Poptropica! Here are some of the outfits that you can dress up like.

Birthday!

Today was Boo boo's birthday, happy birthday to him! We started out the day with the tradition of a chair decorated with ribbon, balloons and other stuff like that. For breakfast I cooked eggs while Lauren made pancakes, blueberry and banana pancakes (yum.) Then Boo boo got a bionicle ship and guy, (I must admit it is a cool toy!) We got to swim for a time, than we bathed and were off for lunch at Incredible Pizza! They have really good deserts, after a hour of us eating we went to play! We got to play laser tag, go carts, fake ice skating and a lot of other cool things too. At laser tag I came in fifth place, on go carts I was shoved out of the way by Sunbum and her passenger (my other sister) caterpillar. Fake ice skating was hard so I bet that really ice skating is supper hard. The stuff we were skating on felt like a huge cutting board! My mom said that they should have people cut up there vegetables for the pizza on the ice skating ring. I'm glad my mom took us there it was fun! I know we all enjoy going to Incredible pizza! Here are some pictures of him, some are from a while back.
I the picture below Boo boo is the one in red.

Cool Idea From My Cool Mom!

My mom had this idea a little while ago and we never did it but I wish we did! We were throwing papers, it was the middle of the day so it was extremely hot but anyways we were out and about when my mom noticed a wreath on someones door. The wreath was very plain, it had nothing on it, just like this lady's wreath, thought she seems happy just the way it is.She came up with the idea of coming to there house at night and decorating it with bright flower and other stuff you decorate wreaths with! Like I wrote we never did it and now if I'm right (which I think I am) they have I decorated wreath, but it does not look as good as we could have made it! We wanted to make the wreath look something like these!

Our Crazy Dog!

This is about our dog his name is Reagan. He never notices other dogs when we go on a walk and he likes to pee on everything, like cars, the curb, grass, stop signs, plants and one time Sunbum! Anyways it's been hot, really hot lately. Yesterday we went swimming and my mom said to put Reagan in his cage inside the house, she said that he would like it better than staying outside in the heat. Off we went to the pool and when we got back Reagan was shivering like crazy! We usually have to push his butt to get him out of the house, but when Sunbum opened the door he ran right out! It turns out that someone left the fan on him and since he was in his cage he could not move to get away from the air. The first picture is of Burrito boy and Reagan! Then the second is Reagan, when we raped him up like a taco!

Bad Basketball Season!

At the beginning of the year we had basketball season, and we never won a game. We usually did not get any points, we were lucky when we did. One time one of the older girls were surrounded so she threw the ball behind her head and the ball actually made it! Thought that was the only point we made in the game while the other team made about twenty two points. In another game we played I made the only point and that was awesome, and most of the time when I tried to make a basket a always threw it over, that's why it was awesome when it made it! The last game of the season I was sick, Sunbum went and they were at a different building that is a lot smaller than the other building we played in so are team made quite a few points but we still did not win. Maybe next year, and plus its almost volleyball season we might win then!

Shapes In The Carpet!

My mom spilled her strawberry lemonade by accident on the carpet, she did not know, when my sister found it she laughed and said it looked like a hippo! My brother said it looked more like Texas. In my opinion it looks like a pink rhino and from a different angle it looks like the United States of America. We all where laughing and pointing out shapes, burrito boy said half of it looked the the United States and the other half a elephant head!

A Movie That Freaked Me And My Brother Out!

Burrito boy and I watched a movie called The Village! It was really scary, the leaders of the village told the children and adults that red was a bad color, so every time there was anything red they would dig a hole and throw it in and cover up the hole again. They told them that there were monsters in the forest and to never go in to the forest, there was like a porcupine kind of monster, that wore a red cape, that would come in the night to eat them. It would leave red on the doors of the houses. They lived like it was the olden days, so they were told that yellow meant safety so anyone in the look out tower wore yellow cape's. I man gets hurt and so they send a blind girl into the forest to get to a town they tell her, and to ask for medicine. So she gets attacked by the monster and I not going to tell the rest. You should watch it, it will freak you out!

Bread

My favorite food is bread, whether it's corn bread, banana bread, bread for sandwiches, bread with onions! The only bread that I don't like is jalapeno corn bread. When we eat dinner I would rather have more bread than desert! I love my mom's banana bread, but every time Sunbum and I try to make banana bread it turns out flat, really flat. When one of my moms blog friends can she made us monkey bread, which I really enjoyed! It was good. Bread is better than some deserts!

What You Can Do In The Rain

A couple of days ago it started to rain when we just got to the pool, the lifeguards heard thunder and they had to close the pool early. So we went to play at the park in the rain, the slide at our neighborhood park is long. As it rained we went down the slide, which while it was wet sent us flying till we hit the ground on our feet of on our butt! On of the really nice lifeguards came and joined us while he waited for his mom. The slide was fun and we played for a while in the rain, thunder and lighting! So that's what you can do in the rain!

Vampires and Pirates

I'm reading a book called Vampirates and I got to say I really enjoy the book. Its about a set of twins named Connor and grace there father dies and they never new there mother. When there father dies they go out to sea. They get into a bad storm that breaks there boat in half, they get separated from each other. Connor gets stuck on a pirate ship and Grace ends up on a vampirate ship! She meets the captain of the ship who tries to convince her that he does not want her blood and that she is a guest on the ship. She's allowed to go out of the cabin in the day but at night she is told to stay inside with the curtains shut! While Connor believes his sister is still alive everyone else on the ship says he just imagined the ship with the sail that look like wings, that he thought his sister was saved by. It's a really cool book you should read it!

Knitting

I had this fun activity that we got to learn how to knit!

My leader showed us several stitches but decided to teach us the easier stitch. I got this cool blue, turquoise and aqua colored yarn that makes a pattern similar to tie dye. It might take a while but I'm going to make a scarf, its not that I really need a scarf at all, but my leader said it is an fast and easy thing to do!
My leader also told us about her goal! She has planed to make one hundred baby caps, to give to a hospital that has new born babies. So every time a baby is born the parents can take a hat for there child.
She says that she has already done sixty and that her mother has done twenty! I wanted to help but I just learned how to knit a basic stitch, and she says; to make a hat it takes five needles (that's more than I can handle).
Once I get better I'll try to make a sweater or something, but that's way in the future and besides I might just want to stick with a sweater anyways!

The Amazing Girls Camp Adventure!

I know that I've been really lazy, and that I haven't blogged in a while but I'm going to attempt to write most of what we did at GIRLS CAMP!

First of all I enjoy girls camp so much, the singing, funny dancing (mostly done by fun people), certifying, service and I loved the theme this year: W.O.W women of worth. Everyone agreed that this was the most spiritual girls camp ever! We have cabins and are ward got the privilege to share the biggest cabin with the party ward, (Magnolia second)! Though threw out the week it might have seemed like we were the party ward, when ever we were about to go to bed another girl and I would shout and sing at the top of are lungs, some girl from are ward and magnolias ward sang including Sunbum. Plus every chance we got we would play the jump in jump out game, ride that pony, missionary tag, little Sally walker and mafia which they called Nephites and Gadianton robbers I loved that game and when we played it one robber took out another robber just to look innocent! Aloha that is hawaiian for hello, everything was covered in flowers, flamingos, tikis here and there in are cabin, leis and other hawaiian things. On the first day everyone was told that when the leaders or anyone else said Aloha we were to say Aloha back, this I enjoyed. When we were in are cabin or running around or in the cafeteria I would yell aloha with my friends just to see how people would respond and almost all the time girls would yell back aloha! We also have a scripture that if you want you can memorize one for everyday your there, our ward memorized it together everyday and said it to a stake leader together, and they would give us a diamond sticker to put on are name tags for everyday we said the scripture, the ward got all five! The one I remember the most is: I am a beloved spirit daughter of heavenly parents and as such I have a divine nature and destiny -The Family Proclamation to the World. Most exciting is our cabin including Magnolia 2 won the most clean award, which means that everyone else's cabin must have been really messy, because are shoes were everywhere, sock, cloths, tooth brush that nobody claimed and lights that we put up that fell and a lot more, but that did not mean we rejected the clean broom award. I made a lot of new friends two of them I made by talking about potato salad, which I got to mention was really good! We did not have secret sisters this year but instead we had nice notes, where you could write anyone a nice note and put it in there jar that they decorated. We were challenged by the stake leaders to say every time we look in the mirror: I am a woman of worth. I am a daughter of God. I have a divine destiny. Everyone was given a different diamond mine was big and green which is knowledge, we were the last ward to leave camp I will miss that place, the slide called the black snake which I went down twenty four times with my friend non stop! The songs that I now sing by my self before bed, the banging on the tables in the cafeteria while we sing the jello song, the services building (which is a small church building), my shirt that I tie dye there that got lost and never found, the little fox we saw, the little dipper in the sky that we looked at every night, the huge fire where we roasted our smores, the hike, using bows and arrows, and bb guns. Everything all miss till next year and counting. I love Girls Camp! Oh and on the last night we were playing Nephites and Gadianton robbers, the stake leaders go around and checks on everyone the first ward asleep leaves first, so a girl in are ward was standing in the middle of are circle and she said that if anyone came in we would pretend we were praying, we all thought she was joking but minutes later the door handled moved and we frozen on the floor in a circle, Em started to pray we all bowed our heads and crossed our arms when she was done we left to bed. When the stake leader left we assembled back into a circle again, most of us laughing at Em. Then Sunbum freaked us all out she said "shes back", we scattered like cats Sunbum told me later, I had ran to my friends bottom bunk and threw my self in her bed instead of climbing to my bed on the top, then my friend jumped into here bed slamming right into me I slide off her bed and crashed on to the floor. Then all you could here was Sunbum laughing at us, we all came back joining in on laughing!
